Now if only they would respond to current merchants. The company I work for is small and we are having a problem with click fraud from an adserver. Shopping.com is still charging us for those clicks and won’t return any of our calls or e-mails. What is a small merchant to do?

John, Shopping.com (SDC) is working through a number of problems, including some click-fraud/accounting issues.

It’s just bad business, though, if you’re not getting any response from them. Shopping.com did change their Terms of Service recently saying that merchants had to install the ROI tracker in order for someone at SDC to look into click-fraud claims. While the ROI tracker has nothing to do with click-fraud, you might want to do this (if you haven’t already) and then email SDC again.

I don’t want to ’sell’ SingleFeed too much, but working with an aggregator obviously does have some benefits. We could look into this for you if you were one of our merchants. And it looks like you’re in Portland (great start to your blog!). That’s where our Account Management team is based. Maybe you could meet up with some of our team for lunch to discuss your needs.

If you want, you can also email me directly at ‘brian at singlefeed dot com’ and I can email SDC on your behalf.
