The Solution

Skates on Haight opened in 1975 as a tiny brick and mortar skateboard shop in San Francisco. The store had one counter and was run by avid skateboarders. The company made its move to the online world in the 1990's and is now primarily an ecommerce business with a brick and mortar shop for showroom use. Its selection of nearly 3,000 products and its subject matter expertise make Skates on Haight about a valuable resource on skateboardand the industry as a whole. 

Prior to its launch with SingleFeed, Skates on Haight was handling all of their shopping engine feeds on their own. Skates on Haight Manager Joren Winge says "All of the shopping engines' formats and requirements are confusing and frustrating." Joren mentions that they were also looking to utilize better product filters than their ecommerce platform was able to offer. Joren had been listing his products on the comparison shopping engines for over a year on his own, spending well over a quarter of his work week on data feeds for the shopping engines.
